We've Been Busy

Here's a video of me taken during the Online News Association conference, where I interviewed a number of great people about the nature of transparency in journalism. Make sure to check out their site in terms of the spirited sessions that took place last week.

In the last three weeks I've met a number of people whose work I greatly admire, and folks I'm also going to be interviewing for our book. I mentioned the interviews from ONA (which you can hear at the BlogTalkRadio link I gave above) and there are also a number of intervews from the Networked Journalism Summit in New York hosted by Jeff Jarvis. Podcast and New Media Expo Plus Five New Videos

I've had a great time at the Podcast and New Media Expo and will be hopping on a plane to go home in about an hour.  I spoke at Podango's Unconference Booth on Transparency and had a great turnout with some very helpful follow up questions.  You can check out the slide show I used by going to this link at Slideshare.net (I'll be adding audio to that in the near future so you can get the full flavor of the presentation). 

I had the chance to get five more videos on transparency this weekend, all of which I'll add soon.  Below is my friend Paolo Tosolini, New Media Business Manager at Microsoft talking about how MS employees help choose which material should be chosen/highlighted/pruned in regards to their Academy Mobile initiative.

Transparency Talk at the Expo
